Acne and Blackheads:

GLAMGLOW SuperMud--

This mask has six acids and some charcoal to pull the yucky stuff out of your pores. Not only does it help with acne and blackheads, but also razor bumps, ingrown hair, and oiliness, and scars. It goes on a dark gray and dries a light gray but you can see it working because the areas where sebum and oil are being extracted turns almost black.

Pore Pudding by Boscia--

This mask blends black charcoal for drawing out impurities and the white charcoal to control future oil production for a more matte skin.

Large Pores:

Though the masks above help to minimize pores as well, there are others that specifically target large pores in order to treat them more powerfully.

Caolion Premium Hot and Cool Pack--

This two-part Korean face mask has a heating mask and cooling mask. Like the GlamGlow and Pore Pudding masks, the heated mask opens the pores and draws out the impurities, preparing it for step two. Once you've washed off the heating mask, the cooling mask is applied and the cold will close your pores so fewer bacteria can enter, creating a cycle for clear skin.

DIY version: You can also simulate the same function of the mask by either using the skin clearing masks or washing your face, then dunking your face in ice cold water for a few minutes.

Oily Skin:

Oily skin usually happens when your skin is too dry. Always moisturize and even consider using a night oil. When your skin is dry your pores produce extra oil, which gets trapped under the tiny dry skin, causing acne and an oily face.

FIRST AID BEAUTY Skin Rescue Purifying Mask with Red Clay--

For oily skin, the SuperMud and Pore Pudding work pretty well, but if you're looking to address just oily skin, go for First Aid Beauty's product. Just make sure to moisturize right after; this brand has an amazing moisturizer line.

Drunk Elephant Marula Oil--

This product is amazing for acne prone, aging, oily, dry, any skin really. Whenever I go to sleep with this oil on I wake up with my skin clearer and better looking.

Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray--

If your face gets oily throughout the day, especially in this heat, I recommend this Boscia product. White charcoal is amazing for controlling oil production so this 2-in-1 setting spray/skin treatment keeps your makeup free from any oil damage.

Dry Skin:

Sunday Riley Lactic Acid All-In-One Treatment--

This is great for brightening, resurfacing, anti-aging, clarifying, and moisturizing your skin.

GlamGlow Thirsty Mud:

Super moisturizing, and can be worn overnight.

The Drunk Elephant Marula Oil is great for dry skin too!

Dull/Uneven Skintone/Antiaging:

Sunday Riley Lactic Acid All-In-One Treatment--

This treatment is great for a lot of things, but if you're looking for the best anti-aging skin care, this is it. Using this over time will make your skin look brand new.

Drunk Elephant TLC Baby Face--

This 25% AHA and 2% BHA mask chemically exfoliates and resurfaces skin, with a tingling sensation your skin will look brighter, more even, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Dark Undereye Circles:

Boscia Sake brightening under eye masks--

This saved me during Coachella when I was running on max four hours of sleep for three days and going crazy all over again in the morning. Brightens, moisturizes, and de-puffs your undereye.

Tarte 911 Under eye Rescue Masks--

Firms, de-puffs, treats fine lines, crows feet, darkness while hydrating your undereye.

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
