Face masks have become a huge new beauty craze and there can be a lot of mixed feelings about them. Face masks have basically taken over, whether you are in Ulta, Bath and Body Works, Target, Wal-Mart or even Hot Topic. Face masks are everywhere. There seems to be a few groups of people when it comes to opinions on face masks. There's the group that has tried them and loved them, the group that has tried them and doesn't like them and then there's the group that has never tried them at all.

When I first started hearing about face masks, I did not see what the hype was about at all. I didn't understand what they were for or why a lot of people were freaking out about them. I was out shopping with some friends and I finally decided to try one and see what all of the hype was about. My world has been changed ever since. I have tried a handful of different masks and I continue to keep trying a different one just to see how they compare to others.

If you have had a rough week and it's just a bath and a glass of wine night, why not continue to pamper yourself and throw a face mask in there. They just make your face feel so fresh, clean and revitalized and it is just so relaxing. Now not every face masks work for the same people, so that's why trying different ones is so fund. Doing this allows you to be able to find the one(s) that you like the most and stick with that.

There is a huge range of face masks there are just the general sheet masks, there's charcoal masks, even peel-off masks, and even bubble masks. There are so many different masks you could try a ton of them and still not have tried them all. Of the ones I have mentioned above, I have tried them all and I think my favorite still has to be the sheet masks, specifically the TonyMoly brand face masks. There are so many different masks that they have, I have tried a handful of them, but there are still more to try. I also love that they have so many different masks for whatever skin type of skin necessity that you could ever need. On the other end, I did recently try one of those bubble masks for the first time and it was an interesting experience. It made my face feel great afterward, but it was a weird process with all of the bubbles, so I don't know if I will do one of those again.

Whether you've tried one before or not, I highly suggest it and if you don't like it that is okay, but it never hurts to try. Who knows, you may love what the face mask does for you and your skin. There are some interesting beauty techniques out there in the world, but sometimes then end up being really great. And I have to say that I am obsessed with them, I love a good face mask on a pamper night or even just to help myself relax.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week.
