Is The Fab Fit Fun Box Really Fab Fit And Fun?

Is it really as good as it looks or is it just another bachelor cast off endorsement for money.

Everyone seems to want what they see on the internet, and they want it even more when the celebrities they follow on social media post pictures of it. That’s how I felt about the Fab Fit Fun box. Just as just about every other female, I’m guilty of being a huge fan of the Bachelor and Bachelorette Franchise. Not only do I DVR every week of the show, but I also follow my Bachelor and Bachelorette favorites on Instagram. When I saw the twins Emily and Haley, from Ben Higgins season of the Bachelor, post stuff about Fab Fit Fun boxes something instantly made me want to give it a try.

When I contacted Fab Fit Fun the customer service was very helpful in telling me all about their product. The one thing that sucked though was waiting for the winter box to come, only because I lack patience. Every Fab Fit Fun box comes with $250 worth of actual size products. When I got the box it was smaller than I expected, but once I read about the products inside it all made sense. In the box, there is a booklet that explains every product, how to use it, and how much it is normally.

The 2016 winter box I received contained seven items. The items included a D.L. & CO Bergamot Woods Scented Candle, A Butter London Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara, A Gorjana Necklace, The O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Peel Face Spray, A Marie Mae Company Thank You Card Set, An Anderson Lilley Beach Butter Sicilian Tangerine Body Cream, and a Moleskine 2017 Weekly Planner.

Honestly, I didn’t care for the necklace or the thank you cards. However, let me just say some of the products from the winter box quickly became my new obsessions. First of all, I use the peel face spray almost every day before I put on my make-up. It makes my face feel so much cleaner and softer after I use it. The Mascara I was a little taken back by at first. It has a weird shaped mascara brush, but that weird shape definitely is okay with me because I can tell a difference in the volume of my lashes with just one run through my lashes with the brush.

Then, there’s the candle. I’m not a huge candle person, however when I lit this candle for the first time the aroma of smell that filled the room instantly relaxed me. The smell was so unique and pleasant that I would recommend it to anyone for themselves or to give as a gift to someone else. The Beach Butter Body Cream is also easily one of my favorites from this box. The cream wasn’t too thick and soaked right into my hands leaving them super soft and smelling really refreshing.

Lastly, the Moleskine Planner. I loved this! I started carrying a planner my junior year of high school and I’ve had one ever since. Before I received my Fab Fit Fun box I had already purchased my planner for 2017. However, when I received the Moleskine planner I loved its size. The planner's size is conveniently thin and fits right into the glove compartment in my car. It’s perfect because it’s just the right size, so I carry it around with me day to day and stay organized.

In addition to the products that come in the Fab Fit Fun box, there is also another booklet that comes with some awesome ideas. Every Fab Fit Fun box benefits a charity. For the Winter 2016 box, I received it was the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Each booklet also offers customers with a handful of delicious recipes and craft ideas that go along perfectly with the season. The Peppy Peppermint Hot Cocoa recipe was my favorite recipe from the winter box!

Overall I’d say the Fab Fit Fun box definitely proved to be a great product with a great cause behind it. I personally will definitely be ordering a spring 2017 box! Get some surprises of your own by visiting the Fab Fit Fun website!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
