As the end of the school year approaches, packing can be both stressful and time-consuming if you do it wrong. Here are some tips on how to pack up efficiently and still get work done while you do it.

1. Plan your packing

Nothing is worse than staying up through the night packing the day before you leave school. Put together a schedule where you can pack in shifts and do work and socialize during the other times.

2. Pick the right type of movers

Do you have a lot of large items that you want to keep track of? Then, a storage unit is perfect for you.

Do you have some heavier items, but overall just a lot of boxes? Getting a moving company can be helpful.

Are you just concerned with storing boxes? Storing on campus or with a basic moving company is your best option.

3. Clean out

It's always helpful to have less to pack up, so make sure to either sell or throw away unwanted or unused items before beginning your packing.

4. Boxes

What kinds of items are you storing? If you just have basic items, regular boxes will work for you. If you have a lot of clothing, wardrobe boxes are great for hanging clothes in to store. If you have a lot of clear containers, then sealing and labeling them can be the best option.

5. Make a list

Make sure to number and make a list of all your boxes, so when you get them at your next location, you can assure that you have everything you started with!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
