Becoming a Computer Art and Animation major at the School of Visual Arts is a tough four-year road. From learning new programs to doing homework until 12:30 a.m., it's one overwhelming ride. If you don't love this field, it can be hard to keep up. But for those of you who take up the challenge and continue moving on forward, here are some things you should expect to become a part of your daily life as a computer arts major.
1. People are going to tell you that you smell, bad.
Those late nights at the computer labs aren't helping either.
2. You lose count of sleepless nights.
3. And when you do end up sleeping, it usually looks like this:
4. Eating becomes a burden that takes away from your working time.
5. You become skilled at instantly fixing a computer.
6. When you hear someone curse in the computer labs, you know it's time to save.
7. When your program crashes and auto-save becomes your only hope.
8. After working long hours on a computer, your back and neck become useless.
9. The sweet embrace of death seduces you every so often.

12. Through it all though, you'll end up loving every painstaking minute of it.
