Everyone has bad days, but when those bad days turn into bad weeks and maybe even months or years, life becomes a real struggle. Often times, when people experience something negative in their lives, such as failure or some sort of depression, they turn to negative practices to make themselves feel better or negate the feeling of negativity. This may seem like a helpful remedy at first, but it will always lead to a future of unwanted grief.

People need to start getting rid of the negative practices and turn to more positive ones, even though it is far easier said than done, as I have learned from personal experience. For a long time, I was having trouble coping with anger and had a lack of self-confidence. That was until I turned to a positive remedy: exercising.

Although a lot of people I know exercise, it seems as though several people view working out as too much time and work, and they don't deem it worthwhile. While it does require physical work, it doesn't need to take up too much time and it is one of the most rewarding things you can do for yourself.

Working out not only works on your physical health, it also helps strengthen the mind. If you exercise, you will feel good afterwards. After a while, your body will start to feel and look better, which boosts confidence and self-esteem. This leads to better decision making; if you have more confidence, you'll be more apt to try out new things and not back down from challenges. It's a never ending cycle of positivity.

Emotionally, exercise is the best medicine. It takes quite a long time for the body to actually look fit. You may notice some changes after a couple of weeks, but if you want dramatic results, you will need to stay patient. In the end, you will not only gain a fantastic body, but also a growth in perseverance. This is probably the biggest factor in dealing with everyday problems.

When looking for a remedy to help with struggles in life, working out is the way to go. It doesn't require much time at all and can even become a personal goal. Exercise can only bring about positivity, and with that comes key factors in order to be successful, like perseverance, patience and happiness (the good looks don't hurt either).

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
