Finals week is approaching very quickly, and it is the only thing standing between you and Christmas. Finals week is probably the most stressful week for a student, whether in college or high school. To help you better prepare for your exams here are a bunch of tips:

  1. Create a schedule and start studying a little bit each day
  2. DON’T cram
  3. Meet with your professor to ask questions
  4. Create a study guide
  5. Review old tests, quizzes, and exams
  6. Create mnemonic devices to help with memorization
  7. Attend review sessions/create group study sessions
  8. Take breaks because balance is key!
  9. Stay hydrated (no caffeine)
  10. Get enough sleep
  11. Quiz yourself by using flashcards
  12. Study in areas with no distraction
  13. Answer the questions at the end of the textbook
  14. Explain the information out loud like to a classmate
  15. DON’T panic
  16. Try not to party
  17. Keep your study area organized and neat
  18. Make a practice exam
  19. Stay motivated
  20. Eat healthy
