James Comey. The man, the legend. James Comey might not just be responsible for one person not being in office (Hillary Clinton), rather two persons if the beans he spills about Trump will force him out of office.
The President is THREATENING to release TAPES of conversations the FIRED director of the FBI has had with him if he spills anything.
First of all: You fired him already, so what else does the man have to lose? You gonna sick the KGB on him?
Second: Are you really gonna threaten somebody on Twitter?
At this point, I have no sympathy for the Republicans anymore. They are putting party over country and they know that once they are able to push their conservative agenda with taxes and other things, they will toss the President to the side like a used tissue.
It's at moments like these where I ask: What would happen if Hillary had done even a FRACTION of what Trump has done so far? She would be in her impeachment hearings right now.
What makes this entire situation worse is that communication from the White House has pretty much lost all their credibility. Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders have a job to defend anything that comes out of the President's Twitter and mouth. They confirm a statement or action the President has allegedly said or done, but as soon as the middle man is thrown out and Trump starts tweeting directly to people, he either discredits the account that the administration wants to have about Trump that the press briefing gets, or changed up his story completely. They say that by lying, you have to feed the lie with more lies. So if no one in the White House can get anything straight, it's because our President is a liar. This trust is further broken by how Trump let RUSSIANS into the White House WITHOUT American press, but RUSSIAN PRESS. Is there any way to seem more guilty?
I can't wait to hear what Comey has to say about Trump. He might not have anything because getting fired stops him from getting any additional intel. I wish I could just fire the cop that pulls me over.
Although these things may be happening faster than we can realize, time feels slower because of it. Usually, a presidency is marked by major events every few weeks. Bill Burr compared it to having a girlfriend. Unfortunately, his prediction that we would be seeing the President every once in a while is completely wrong. Every &%$#$% day there is so more &$#%$#$% to worry about.
The fact that Fox News says other media outlets are being overdramatic about Comey's firing makes me want to vomit. It's disgusting the level of propaganda that channel is willing to dish out to Americans who deserve better. I have been so distraught by the news that trying to find humor within has become even more difficult. This article may have seemed like a brief recap, but it's my way of trying to deal with what is going on around the world.
