When Your Ex Hits You Up

Oh no, here we go again.

When Your Ex Hits You Up

This person is most likely someone you never wanted to hear from again but here they are. Going through a break up is never easy. I was with my ex for two years. Two years is a long time to entangle yourself into someone else's life.

You learn so much about on person for such a long time, then suddenly they're gone. At first, the wound is fresh, and it hurts for a long time. Some times even after you think you're over it, you're still not. A song might play that used to be your song, the one that you listened to together and suddenly you are right back to where you started.

There is nothing you want more than to be left alone. To allow you to continue to heal and to protect your energy from someone that hurt you. You might have been doing just fine, might have even moved on when they hit you up. But they still will.

Remember to stand your ground. They are your ex for a reason. You owe them nothing at this point anymore and if you really wanted to ignore them. It's much more important to protect yourself and your energy then give it to them.

They're probably going to hit you up in the weirdest way possible. I'm sure like myself you were smart enough to block your ex. So in order for them to contact you, be prepared for the weirdness. Fake Instagram accounts, emails, texts from other numbers.

Most of all. Do not allow them to manipulate you into getting back together. Do not allow them to lie to you about what really happened. Also if they stole any of your items now would be a great time to talk to them about getting them back. If they wanna chit chat you mind as well get what rightfully belongs to you.

Remember you are better off without them. Keep it moving and keep doing you.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!
