If you have ever watched NBC's hit new TV show This Is Us, then you know why everyone wishes they can find a man like Jack Pearson (played by actor Milo Ventimiglia). Here are some of the many reasons why...

1. He knows how to be "hip/cool."

2. He knows how to dress sharp. So handsome!

3. He has to deal with a lot of Rebecca's BS meltdowns. Someone give this man the super husband award or something!

4. He really listens to his children's needs.

5. He makes everyone of his children feel like they are one of a kind.

6. He does whatever it takes to make his son Randall feel comfortable, and a part in his family.

6. He was able to turn an old apartment into a romantic 5 star hotel for Rebecca. And he genuinely loves her for who she is. Flaws and all!

7. He appreciates everything life has to offer, no matter how hard it's challenges might be.

8. He creates amazing and special family memories/traditions.

9. He shows human emotion! Even when life hands him hard circumstances, he thinks before making rash decisions.

10. He is also really a sight to heal sore eyes!

I don't think I need to go on really... If you still don't believe me then you haven't seen the show. In that case go watch it! Someone find me a Jack Pearson!

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
