If you watch "New Girl" on FOX, then you have clicked on the right article. Not only is it one of my favorite comedy shows on TV, but it also includes one of my favorite TV power couples, Cece and Schmidt. Although they are polar opposites in all things fashion, religion, humor, and taste in music, they are able to show all "New Girl" watchers that their relationship is the epitome of what everyone deserves in life.

After I finished watching Season 6. I realized FOX renewed "New Girl" for a seventh and final season (which takes place three years later). So I had to take the time out of my somewhat busy schedule to create this list on why everyone deserves a relationship like Cece and Schmidt.

They know what each other likes and doesn’t like

It is like they are connected. They finish each other’s sentences and they both know what the other likes. Through that, they show how their relationship works so well and why they never really get into a lot of arguments.

They know how to compromise

We all know that Schmidt is very opinionated when it comes to wardrobe and décor. But when they are decorating their house, Cece also has her own ideas. They show how to combine their ideas and compromise one thing for another. Although Schmidt didn’t like some of her choices, he knew he loved her and wanted her to feel included.

They know they are both weird and they embrace it

What is a relationship without a bit of goofiness and good times? Some people think it is annoying or embarrassing when their partner is a bit quirky, but where is the fun in that? Their relationship really shows what it means to embrace the now and embrace each other.

They always remind each other how much they love one another

Schmidt shows how a man is supposed to love a woman. He showers her with love, compliments, kisses, hugs, laughs, gifts, and everything else you can think of. Don’t get me wrong, she definitely does the same thing, but he makes her feel special and that makes me mushy inside.

They do things for each other even though they don’t have to

Honestly, this episode made me cry my eyes out. Cece was pregnant, but Schmidt found out before Cece did because her doctor called Cece's phone and Jess picked up and told Winston and then told Schmidt. He then went out and bought a room full of flowers because he couldn't decide which ones to get. Normal couples don't do things this extreme, but sometimes, it should be called for.

Schmidt knows what he wants

Schmidt's odd humor is what really keeps their friend group and relationship rolling. There is also nothing like a determined and passionate man in a relationship, it’s such a plus.

The guy deserves as much love as the girl

Cece shows her love for Schmidt simply by the way she looks at him with both love and desire. That is the way to Schmidt's heart.

More importantly...

They look at each other the way everyone in a relationship should be looked at.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
