He believes in me so much; I would never trade him.

Sunday, June 18, was when we all celebrated Father’s Day. This day is to thank and respect our dad’s for everything they have done for us. I think that this celebration shouldn’t be celebrated just for that one day, but perhaps every day. We should always be thankful for everything they have done for us, same thing with Mother’s Day. Some people don’t have a father whether it is due to a tragedy or just personal issues. It should be mentioned that the ones who do have a father, we should all be happy that we have them. Every child needs a father figure in their life, no matter what the situation might be.

My father is a great man. He can be tough and annoying sometimes, but I know at the end of the day he realizes what he is doing might be a good or bad thing. Although sometimes it’s irritating how he thinks that he is always right and you are wrong, he gets pretty defensive lol. But he is very laid back, he doesn’t really get involved in such drama and that is what I like about him. I think I get that from him because I also don’t like to be in any drama. I just mind my own business like him. He is the best, sometimes.

As a child, my father did take care of me when my mother had a night shift. I think that was the most incredible thing ever because now, many fathers don’t even man up enough to take care of their kid. But my dad, he owned it. He also loved to take videos of my sister and I dancing or even putting on our own show. He even took so many pictures. Looking back at those, it makes me happy because I start having those flashbacks. Sometimes it does make me a bit upset. Everything he as done for me, I thank him for it, I wouldn’t trade him.

Dad, if you are reading this, then thank you for everything you have done for me and my sister. Thank you for working so hard to make sure our family doesn’t only have a food on the table every night, but also a home. I really love and appreciate you supporting me in anything I do. You really believe in me and know that I will become someone great one day. I know sometimes you push me to do my best, but don’t worry, I know what I am doing. I have been doing so many good things already remember? I will continue to make all my dreams come true. But remember, little steps have to be made to make the bigger ones come true. Dad, you’ll be proud of me one day, don’t worry.

Every day is Father’s Day for me even if I may not show it, but remember that you are very important to all of us. I thank you again for being the greatest dad ever and believing in me to do great things in what I love doing. I also promised you that I will be on TV one day, so I’ll make that happen soon. I love you, Dad.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
