Despite our attempts to conquer new experiences and have a little fun on our day-to-day schedule, lets face it: life can get boring. Going through the same motions everyday in my opinion, can drive one mentally insane (or so it seems). Sometimes, we just need an adventure, or 5. So here are 10 adventures to pick from when you need a little spunk in your life!

1. Berry picking.

Exploring through a field of strawberry’s in cute little overalls with your friends? I think yes. Take a little trip to your nearest strawberry picking field, and get prepared for a cute little experience with the freshest strawberry’s you will probably ever taste.

2. Goat yoga.

Somehow, somewhere, goat yoga came into place, and yes, it really is what it sounds like. You basically get to do yoga while goats come up to you and get on top of you...10/10 recommend. We cannot take this legendary invention for granted ladies and gents; now is the time for goat yoga.

3. Stick your head out the sun roof.

One of the most freeing and liberating adventures one can take. You’re on the countryside, jamming your favorite music, with your favorite people, and you stick your head out the window. The wind is in your face, the inner child in you is coming out, and nothing but pure joy and adrenaline pumps through your body. Do it-trust me...but not with cops around.

4. Climb something.

Climbing things is always an adventure. Find a nearest canyon, or a mountain, or even an indoor rock climbing facility. Climbing is always an experience- especially in nature. It also feels so good to know you made it to your final destination!

5. Eat at a culturally rich restaurant.

Lucky for Americans, there are so many diverse and culturally rich restaurants available. Find yourself a place to eat you never would’ve gone to before. Try something new, that you don’t know the name of. Experience the food around the globe!

6. Go to the drive-in movies.

If you’re wanting a relaxing but slightly adventurous night, the drive in movies is your spot. Get a bunch of blankets and pillows and cuddle up, preferably in the back of a truck. Maybe even bring your pets. The world is your oyster...

7. Wake up early and watch the sunrise.

One of the most beautiful sights, even if you’re still half asleep while watching. Wake up early and watch the sunrise at a park. It’s gorgeous, and rarely seen if you sleep as much as I do.

8. Bake something random.

Baking is always an adventure if you're as sucky as a cook as I am. Find yourself a good recipe on Pinterest, and try your best to make it. Maybe even start a flour fight. From personal experience, the mess is totally worth it.

9. Take a stroll in a shopping cart.

Yes, I am telling you to sit in a shopping cart, and no, I am not talking to the 13 year olds (but y’all should totally go for it too). Next time you go to the grocery store, hop in that cart and have your friend push you around in it. People will stare. It’s quiet funny actually. It’s also pretty nice getting carted around to get all your groceries.

10. Go to the asian market, buy something random.

This one is still on my to-do list, however, I am extremely excited. It’s the little things in life, right? Head over to your nearest Asian market and buy something random. Wait till you get home to google it and figure out how to prepare your newly bought item. You never know, it might end up being your favorite food (especially if you choose sticky rice).

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
