A letter to my Love

Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite

Dear my Love,

I never was a fan of the girl who always had to be hanging out with their boyfriend. I never understood how someone could make one person their everything. Or how they always uploaded cute pictures together. We get it, you love each-other. I never truly understood any of it, until I met you.

As soon as I met you, I became that girl. The answer became so clear to me, on how someone can make that one person their everything. You became my absolute best-friend. We slowly started hanging out every day. Not because we needed to; but we simply wanted to. Whether it be a homework date, a lazy movie day, or getting dressed up and going out, it did not matter. All I knew is I wanted to be doing whatever it was I were doing, with you. I wanted to keep making memories with you, and make every moment I had with you count.

You make me the happiest I have ever been. Your constant compliments along with making me feel like the luckiest girl to walk this planet is truly unbelievable. I never knew it was possible to be treated this well. You call me your queen, and that is exactly how you treat me. You are always making sure that I am happy, and for that I am forever thankful. I know that I can always come to you for anything. I know you are always there if I need a shoulder to cry on, or even if I just need a hug. And I know that you will do whatever you can to make me feel better.

You support me in everything I do and you are my biggest cheerleader in life. You believe in me, more than I believe in myself. You make me feel like I can achieve any dream I have. You encourage, inspire, and love me every single day. You are simply, my everything.

You understand me the most. You know that ice-cream solves any bad mood that I may be in. You know that a trip through the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru will put the biggest smile on my face. You know that no matter how many times I say I don't want the last bite, that I do (and you always give it to me). You know that it will take at-least five times to take the perfect selfie, and what side I have to be on. You know that if my favorite song comes on the radio, our conversation has to wait and we have to have a dance party.

Thank-you for being the guy that was worth waiting for. The guy that made me realize why every other relationship never worked out. Thank-you for showing me what true love is. Thank-you for being so kind. Thank-you for all the laughs. Thank-you for your patience. I can go on and on but the truth is, the list is endless with all the things I am thankful for when it comes to you.

I am so glad that I have gotten to experience true love with you and I can not wait to see what the future has in store for us. The past few years have been nothing but amazing, and I know that it will only get better from here. Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite.

Love Always & Forever,

Your Girl

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

winter

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
