Every Girl Deserves A Nathan Scott

He is the reason you have unrealistic expectations of men.

Over the course of nine seasons and 187 episodes, girls everywhere could not help but fall in love with Nathan Scott. The dynamics between the characters of "One Tree Hill" always managed to be authentic despite the crazy situations they found themselves in. "One Tree Hill" managed to make you want to be Brooke Davis's best friend and be Haley James Scott for one main reason, having the privilege of calling Nathan Scott your husband.

Nathan Scott arguably the best basketball player on the Tree Hill Ravens which is why it is no surprise he is the star. Once Nathan stops being a jerk it is not hard to realize there is much more to him than just basketball. Nathan is a protective dad, loving husband, loyal friend, and just a fun-loving guy which is why he is such a heartthrob.

Here are 11 times Nathan stole your heart.

1. "Don't say I never gave you anything."

This was the first time we actually saw more of Nathan than just the typical jock. Even though his intentions weren't the best in the beginning, he still was able to win over Haley and go on to have one of the best relationships on the show.

2. When Nathan competed in the Boy Toy Auction shirtless, that is all.

3. "I wanna be somebody who's good enough to be seen with you."

Despite all his mess-ups, Nathan always manages to come out on top. Why? Because when he does admit to his mistakes he does it in such a heart-warming way who can resist?

4. Over the seasons, rain and Nathan and Haley's relationship went hand in hand.

Not sure who else could make dancing in the rain more romantic and graceful looking than Nathan.

5. That time Nathan risked his future of professional basketball because he wanted to do what was best for his family.

6. When Nathan and Haley's son Jamie was being bullied in school and Daddy Nathan swooped in saving the day.

Nathan showed all the kids that wearing a cape was cool and then taught them to slam dunk.

7. "Always and Forever." Such simple words that only Nathan could make sound so meaningful.

8. Everything about this moment.

9. For a brief moment, you forget they are only in high school because of how much they love each other.

To propose to Haley Nathan did not need to do some elaborate romantic proposal, instead, he simply told Haley how much he loved her and it was still the most romantic thing ever.

10. Another reason why Nathan is such an amazing dad, helping Jamie overcome his fears.

11. He does not try to hide how much he loves and admires Haley.

If you know Nathan, then you know these 11 moments are just a small fraction of all the heart-warming things he did over nine seasons. My advice, if you don't know Nathan Scott, would be to get to know him.

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2023, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.

The winters at Kent are brutal, and while the heated sidewalks and some great snow boots are always a help, there’s no chance you won’t bust it on the ice at least once in your four plus years at school.

Christmas is literally so close. We can almost taste it. But there is just one thing standing between you and the big day: FINALS. It's not the studying, lack of sleep, last minute cram sessions or crappy food intake that is the worst... but the fact that you cannot focus because, well, CHRISTMAS. How do professors expect you to focus when Christmas is soooo soon. For all my fellow Christmas lovers out there, I feel your pain.
