I do not think anyone truly understands the significance of having a guy best friend in college who wants nothing more than to be friends. I don't think I would be able to survive without a guy best friend, and I believe every girl deserves that.

First of all, it is refreshing.

Honestly, it is refreshing to have a guy best friend with pure intentions. He wants nothing more than to be there for you as a friend and enjoy your company. He knows where you two stand, and he doesn't try to push beyond those boundaries.

It is such a great feeling knowing you have a guy friend like that, especially in college. You don't have to walk on eggshells. Many college guys only want one thing-- even those who claim to be your "friend". My best friend and I know exactly where we stand. We are just friends and nothing more. I can talk to him about any and everything, and I do not have to worry about it.

Guy best friends give you a different perspective.

Girls, for the most part, will side with their friend. I've witnessed many girls give mediocre advice, and go with whatever you say. When you're in fight mode, so are they. Guys, however, are straightforward. They understand the male perspective, and they are able to give you insight into any situation you are dealing with.

They are also about to help you make rational decisions. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to my best friend, and he has given me such great advice without having to say much. He really just steers me in the right direction.

Finally, I want good vibes only.

College is all about having a great time. Guys are DRAMA-FREE. Guys are all about good vibes only, and kicking back and relaxing. I literally have no issues with my best friend.

We tell each other things straight up and that's that. We do not dwell on it. We keep it pushing. There is never a dull moment, and I do not have to worry about unnecessary drama.

As said before, all college girls deserve a guy best friend who has pure intentions and wants nothing more than a friendship.
