To say this past week has been eventful would be the least.

1. President Barrack Obama held his farewell speech.

2. CNN broke a story stating Trump had somehow engaged in “golden showers,” sex acts involving urine. Wait what?


3. Presidential elect Donald Trump held his first news conference. One thing we can all agree on is, it seems he still thinks he’s campaigning. He also turned down CNN from asking any questions.

4. President Barrack Obama presents VPJoe Biden with the presidential Medal of Freedom. Biden could not contain holding his tears back. Same Joe, SAME.


5. Selena Gomez and The Weeknd made an appearance as a potential new couple. Wait what? Can this musical duo be any cuter? Whatever makes Sel happy makes us all happy.

6. New England Patriots beat the Houston Texans.


7. Atlanta Falcons beat the Seattle Seahawks.


8. Green Bay Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys.

9.Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
