Attention, Ladies and Gentlemen of all ages, creeds, and religions! Do you often sit at home, on your lonely pier, and think, "Man, I just wish I would read an entire work of literature in public."?

Well, I have the event for you! It's known as Milton Marathon and it's happening Thursday, the 17th on East Tennessee State University's campus (The Forum Room 311 in the DC Culp Building to be exact).

Yea, John Milton? Ever heard of him? He wrote a little book of poetry called Paradise Lost and the Literature and Language Department of ETSU, in collaboration with the Fall 2016 Milton and His Age class, is giving YOU the opportunity to gather with like-minded individuals and read this dynamic text ALL. DAY. LONG (9 A.M. - 7 P.M.)

And as if this didn't sound like a gift from God, the Father, himself, there will also be a drawing for a $100 Barnes & Noble gift card - and who can pass that up?

Also, do you like t-shirts? Well, there's a drawing for some of those too! They look like this:

Stylish, no?

In addition to the all-day reading, there will also be a Rare Books and Illustration Exhibit! If you dig books, specifically old books (we're talking books from the 1600's here, people) or art made my students specifically for this event, then this is definitely the place for you!

For the latest updates and some pretty hilarious memes too!

I'll see you there!

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

music sheet

Being a music major is not all kicks and giggles. In fact, there are days when I question my sanity and doubt myself as a musician. I know I am not the only one going through the struggle, and so here are 13 GIFs that I know my fellow music majors can relate to...
