Are you tired of your backaches or headaches? I bet you're sick of taking prescription medicine over and over again. Well I just may have a solution for you! Young Living Essential Oils are here to save the day! I recently became exposed to them since my sister started selling them. To be honest, I never believed they worked but they really do!

Now, I know what you're thinking, what in the heck are Essential Oils? They are aromatic, volatile liquids that are distilled from plants. The oils are made to "bring health and healing to the body." There are so many different chemical compounds to help you with your ache and pains. The oils are so powerful that with one smell or breath of an oil, it can be reached to every organ in your body! Crazy, right?! You may have heard of Essential Oils before this so the next question is what makes Young Living different from other Essential Oils that you may find at the supermarket? Young Living's oils are actually therapeutic oils.

The oils can be used daily for basically anything. From sleep, back aches, headaches, stress and so so much more. There is basically an oil for everything! You can even diffuse your oils to make your house, car or office smelling wonderful without all the toxins of a candle! I have tried tons of oils that my family and I love so much!

Thieves - Has been my mom's life saver. It's known to help kill airborne germs and its great for cleaning and sore throats!

Purification - Gets rid of those nasty odors! It also smells great in the diffuser. I put this in my dads shoes to get rid of the stank!

Copaiba - This oil enhances other oils and promotes youthful appearances from the inside out!

Frankincense - Promotes the feeling of calmness and balance.

RC - Great to apply to a sore throat!

DiGize - Alleviates nausea and upset stomachs, I use it for all my stomach aches!

Lemon - Helps oily skin, detoxing your body and it's even great in your water!

Stress Away - Just as it sounds! I always put a little on the back of my neck

Peppermint - Supports digestive system, soothes headaches, and great when you forget your gum!

Panaway - Helps with everyday joint/muscle pain.

Lavender - Great for relaxation! I like to put lavender in the diffuser to help me sleep at night!

Those were just a the oils that come in the starter kit! There are plenty of oils. There are so many perks to these oils! My sister and I have made lotions, make up remover wipes, hand soap and so much more. You can even use the oils in your everyday cooking if you'd like! The opportunities with these oils are endless. It's great knowing that there's a healthy non-toxic option for our health and wellness needs in our home! Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Sister | Brother Style - Word Press

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week.
