When life gets you down, it's important to pull yourself back up and keep going. Constant negative energy is something almost all people will experience during a time period in their life. Whether it's a group of friends, one person or a whole community in general, it happens and it is anything but an easy experience. It's especially difficult if you have not gone through it before, but it's something to learn how to face right away before it gets overwhelming. Here are some suggestions of activities and things you can do to focus on something more positive and escape the situation to the best of your ability.
1. Listen to music

GiphyMake plans with your friends! Doing something fun and being able to talk about other things will help get your mind off of the negative energy surrounding you.
4. Workout or try yoga
GiphyThis is the best way, in my opinion, to change your mindset and get motivated. Listen to your favorite music while you workout and you may find yourself enjoying it more than you expected.
5. Stay confident and strong
GiphyIf you are being who you are and remain confident and strong, you will be well on your way to escaping this negative energy and moving on from it. Keep your head up and don't let anyone tell you that you aren't good enough.
