Midterms are almost here, your classes are swamping you with homework and projects, and you don't have enough sticky notes to hold your life together.

So what do you do? You get a planner. Don't go to Wal-Mart, skip Target (this time), and don't even mess with Lilly Pulitzer. I went through several Lilly Pulitzer planners before I found my one true [planner brand] love.

Erin Condren.

Her planners are everything. She has life planners, monthly planners, weekly planners, academic planners, wedding planners, teacher lesson planners, and several different sizes for each one, too. If you are disorganized for any reason at any point in your life, she's got something to set you straight.

What's even better about these planners, is that you can customize them. As someone whose name is never on anything (no fun keychains or anything like that as a kid) having my name on something means more than it probably should.

Let me show you my actual planner. It's great:

Isn't it beautiful? The rose gold is metallic on the front cover and back cover, too.

Here's a couple of my faves as well. Her style is just so fun, has a variety of patterns that are totally different. That's a huge difference between Erin Condren's planners and Lilly Pulitzer's planners.

LP has cute stuff, don't get me wrong. But it all kinda falls in the same boat of floral or watercolor-ish. Erin Condren has floral, animals, patterns, and so many different color variations.

Plus the insides of the planner are ridiculously fancy and organizable.

Before each month in the weekly-detailed planners are "projects and exams" sections so you can really flesh out what's going on for a certain project.

Plus I love the checkboxes already in the planner; they make me feel so accomplished.

So obviously I'm all in for these planners, and this might've been a review of them, or it might've been me advertising the heck out of them, or maybe it's just me being grateful for the organization in my life. It just does wonders.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
