It’s that time of the year again... Super Bowl Sunday is coming.
Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots beat the Houston Texans and Pittsburg Steelers to secure the AFC championship. On February 5th at 6:30 pm, Tom Brady will lead the Patriots into his 7th appearance in the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. This stadium holds just over seventy-two thousand people and is home to the Houston Texans team that the Patriots beat in the first round of playoffs. The Patriots beat the Panthers at this same stadium to win super bowl 38 back in 2004. The halftime show star is six-time Grammy winner Lady Gaga. She sang the national anthem at the 50th Super Bowl last February and will perform an amazing show.
As a New England sports supporter, Super Bowl Sunday will consist of every article of Patriots gear that I own from the hat to the socks. Sunday will be full of all sorts of food and drinks that will leave you feeling sick but hopefully not until Monday. Screaming, yelling and cheering at the TV will obviously happen through the whole entire game.
Sports, especially football, have a way of bringing people together. Well, unless they are routing for the Atlanta Falcons, and if that’s the case stay away from them and the negativity about the Patriots.
Here's to bringing home a fifth trophy to New England!!
