Generations have tip-toed around the issue for long enough that stigmas have formed, often creating an uncomfortable environment for individuals experiencing mental illnesses. Today, mental health advocates everywhere turned to Twitter to #EndTheStigma and speak up on behalf of everyone's struggles.

Alongside #EndTheStigma, individuals adding #BellLetsTalk to their tweet are doing so for a reason. Today, January 29, Bell Let's Talk is donating 5 cents toward Canadian mental health initiatives for every tweet and retweet with the hashtag.
