In This Article:

April is probably one of the most dreaded months for a college student. It's the time of the semester where you have ten projects, seven papers and two speeches to do by tomorrow, and it's extremely stressful. Everyone just wants the semester to end so they can have almost four months of summer vacation. Here are 11 thoughts everyone has during the last month of the semester.

1. "I give up on all this school work."

2. "I want to go home so I can eat real food."

Giphy

3. "Do I really want to go to this class today?"

Giphy

4. "Why am I breaking out so bad?"

Giphy

Probably from the combination of the unhealthy food that's available to you plus all of the stress!

5. "Maybe I should just drop out."

Giphy

We all know we're not actually going to...but we still tend to think it.

6. "Please don't tell me the final is cumulative."

Giphy

Surprise! It is!

7. "How am I supposed to remember everything from this semester?"

Giphy

8. "C's get degrees!"

Giphy

9. "Do my professors realize I have other classes I have to do work for?"

A professor told my class that we probably don't have any work to do for our other classes so we should spend all of our time on that class's final project. At the time of writing this, I have four papers and a six-minute speech left to write. Love that for me.

10. "Why did I choose to take so many classes?"

Giphy

And with the luck every college student has, you have finals in all of them.

11. "When can I go to sleep?"

Giphy

Because with all the work you have to do, there's no time for sleep.

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.

I even sleep with a pizza pillow every night! There are many reasons why pizza stands above all other foods, and here are just a couple reasons why.
