Late night studying has passed, finals are over with, and (hopefully) there is less stress. After a semester packed with nonstop homework, daily activities, and work, I think to myself, "What do I do with all this extra time now?" I'm not used to having a break, so here's a list of what you busy college students can do now that you have a long break:
1. That Netflix show you haven't gotten around to watch? Watch it.
The best thing to do over break is nothing.
2. Go see your family.
After a busy semester, you probably didn't get to see your family much. It's a great feeling to just sit and hang out with them.
3. Hang out with your friends when you don't have to worry about when your next assignment is due.
Not worrying about what you have due next is a wonderful feeling.
4. Catch up on your sleep.
Sleep for 10 hours? Take a two hour nap? You can do that now without feeling as guilty.
5. Read a book.
Now that you don't have to read for classes, you can read for fun and enjoy yourself.
6. Go shopping.
Treat yourself to something new, you deserve it.
7. Travel.
Depending on the weather, take a road trip!
8. Pick up some extra hours at work.
It might not seem too exciting, but you might as well pick up some extra hours at work.
