11 Ways College Students Can Relate To Michael Scott At The End Of The Year

As the end of the school year approaches, I find myself going through many different emotions. Also, I find myself relating a lot to Michael Scott from "The Office" more and more each day. Here are some of the things going that most college students go through at the end of the semester.

1. When you finally show up to class

Not having to show up to class is such a nice luxury, until you actually decide to show up. When you actually decide to show up you will more than likely not understand anything that is going on in the class.

2. When you check your bank account

I don't even have to explain this one but all I have to say is that being a broke college student is a real thing.

3. Procrastination

We have all been there. Procrastination is a horrible thing, but doing anything sounds better than doing school work.

4. Emotional breakdowns

Sometimes it just gets to the point where you are so stressed out that you just need to have a breakdown, and that's okay.

5. When you never know what is going on

Even if you always go to class you will probably never know what is going on, being lost and confused is a normal thing in college.

6. Anger

At some point, you may or may not want to burn your school down. Even if you really want to, I don't suggest doing that.

7. College "diet"

At this point who cares if you eat ice cream for breakfast or end up eating too much food. Everyone is stressed out, do whatever you want.

8. More procrastination

I had to put procrastination down twice because it deserves it.

9. When your friends go out without you

Sometimes you have to choose to do school work over going out. This may be upsetting at first but it will be worth it in the end...hopefully.

10. Writing a paper

Papers are horrible. Usually, papers include not knowing what else to write down so you kind of just wing it and hope for the best.

11. When you're finally done

After all of the stress, you finally get to go and enjoy summer. You deserve to have three months off to just relax before you have to do school all over again.

Yes, college can be stressful and it always will be, but at the end of the day, you just need to be like Michael Scott. He also goes through some difficult times just like anyone else but he always remains positive. Remember, WWMSD? (What would Michael Scott do?)

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
