1. "No more motivation and the procrastination....has reached extreme levels"

Can you say procrastination? When the weather turns nice and the sun sets later, it's hard to want to do anything but be outside or hang out with friends. Not to mention we've been at it with paper, projects, presentations and practicals and its time for a much-needed break. The weather and high homework demand comes with a lot of procrastination.

2. "What's the lowest grade I can get on the test to still pass the class?"

The number of times I've heard a student say this! It sounds bad but you're not meant to get an A in every class.

3. "Is it summer yet?"

Summer is right around the corner, the weather's getting warmer and the sun is out all day. You can almost hear the sounds of the ocean, a splash in the pool, the smell of sunscreen, the sound of a campfire crackling, the fireworks on 4th of July weekend, and the sounds of a night thunderstorm. Yeah, I'm ready for summer too.

4. "Are we ever going to use this?"

If you have not sat in a class and had this thought are you really a college student? Yes, at times it seems like we tend to learn some pretty useless stuff, but who knows maybe one day we will be grateful for what we thought was useless crap.

5. "When did we learn that?!?"

Have you ever been sitting in class taking a test and ask yourself when you even learned this material? Your more than likely not alone.

6. Two months of no homework!

Summer means no test, quizzes, homework, practical, or presentations. I don't know about you, but I look forward to enjoying every moment of those two months free from school work.

7.Burned out and over it...

It's okay to feel like your not okay. Burned out, seems like everyone is just at that point where they are crashing and super stressed. Just remember you are not alone, and if you feel burned out chances are someone else does too. Summer is right around the corner, you got this!

8. "Should be doing homework but here we are..."

Shopping, getting ice cream, hanging outside, and basically avoiding all responsibilities...yes we have reached that point. And the worse part is we don't really even care anymore.

Finish the semester strong, Blair wouldn't have given up so you can't either. You're almost there!

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
