The end of the semester is a joyous, yet also very stressful time. Summer is right around the corner, but first you must make it through the struggle of final projects and final exams. Sometimes it seems as if teachers save all of the major assignments for the last two weeks, causing you to have three major papers and two major projects due within a three-day span. I’m here to tell you that you can do it! Leslie Knope and her crew are here to illustrate your struggle.

1. Stress eating… for three weeks.

Maybe your New Year’s Resolution was to eat healthier and exercise more. No matter how hard you try, all of that goes out the window in the last few weeks of school. You barely have time to stop working on homework for long enough to go get dinner, let alone put effort into eating healthy and working out. Junk food all day, every day.

2. Being on edge most of the time.

Lack of sleep, stress, and all that junk food create the perfect storm for a cranky student. Try not to take it out on your roommates too much!

3. Pretending like everything’s okay, when you’re actually freaking out inside.

No but really, how does one actually complete that many papers and project in two weeks? AND study for finals?!

4. We all have those moments where we’re just delirious from working on school work. All. Day.

I just feel bad for those who have to put up with us.

5. Sometimes, the procrastination is real.

Sometimes you just get super sidetracked on something completely unnecessary just to take your mind off of school for a few minutes.

6. Realizing that one project is actually due in class, and not at midnight.

Which means that you just lost like 8 potential working hours. Crunch time.

7. Studying for your hardest class, and realizing that you faked your way through it all semester and have no idea what’s actually going on.

Welp. See ya, GPA.

8. When you take a breather from homework and studying and realize that summer is right around the corner!

* Happy dance* Okay, daydream over. Back to work.

9. And that one class that’s so boring you can even bring yourself to read the textbook.

Nope. Not happening. Just can’t do it.

10. Finishing all your homework/projects/tests just to realize finals begin in two days.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire, as they say.

11. But then, just like that, everything’s done!

You made it! Look at you go, finishing things. Now go enjoy your summer!

Just remember, no matter how difficult these last three weeks are, you’ll make it through! Just do your best, study hard, and everything will be fine! Just imagine yourself lying on the beach and let it give you the motivation to finish well.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
