When your life seems like it's spiraling out of control and spinning, that is when you put your belief in the sovereignty of God.
It's easy to let the trials we face pull us away from the peace and comfort of the Father -- to get wrapped up in our own little world of pain and temptation.
It is even easier to blame those circumstances on God. How dare He place you in this situation that hurts so much? That is so confusing? That seems painfully unending?
When all of this is happening, let me remind you what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, “God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.” Yes, your circumstances may be hard but be encouraged that God trusts you to endure and prosper through this challenge.
God designed these circumstances for you to experience, to create a testimony, to shine a light into the world. The prophet Jeremiah stated “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” God is a gentleman; he is kind and considerate with intentions only to bring you good. He will bring you through the valley and at the other side you will say “God, I see what you did there.” Trust me, there is joy in realizing that God intended for good to come out of your troubling situations.
Not only is God the ultimate author; he counts every tear you have ever shed. The hurt you are experiencing in your situation does not go unnoticed. The Father recognizes your struggles and wants to help you carry that burden; You just have to give it up to him.
Use these difficult times to strengthen your relationship with Him. Strengthen your trust and faith. Persevere. God is bigger than anything this world can throw at you.
