Some days aren't great for me. I know everybody has some bad days and that's okay. When I'm having one, I have a tendency to listen to a playlist of music that encourages me. This is a list of 14 songs that are empowering to me and I think everybody should know.

1. "Body Love" by Mary Lambert

"You are no less valuable as a size 16 than a size 4, you are no less valuable as a size 32A than a 36C..."

This song is about learning to love the body you are in and accepting that just because you don't look like everybody else, you are still beautiful.

2. "Brave" by Sara Bareilles

"Maybe there's a way out of the cage that you live, maybe one of these days you could let the light in and show me how big your brave is..."

This song is about breaking out of your shell and speaking up and letting yourself be honest.

3. "Confident" by Demi Lovato

"I make my own choice, bitch I run this show."

This song is about taking control of your life. It's about taking life by the handles and making it yours.

4. "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten

"I don't really care if nobody else believes, cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me."

This song is about believing in yourself even if nobody else does.

5. "Fire and Gold" by Bea Miller

" Baby we were born with fire and gold in our eyes..."

This song is about the undiscovered potential that you have that is inside.

6. "Gold" by Britt Nicole

"So hold your head up high, it's your time to shine, from the inside our it shows, you're worth more than gold."

This song is about knowing your self worth even if other people are trying to put you down.

This song is about making it despite what other people try to do to break you down.

This song is about taking the time to love who you are and making yourself your priority.

This song is about making mistakes but loving yourself anyway because you are going to do great things and you know it.

This song is about not following the stereotype of what girls are supposed to be, but being your own boss.

This song is about not having to please anybody but yourself.

This song is about breaking down the appearance stereotype that the world has.

This song is about accepting yourself as you are.
