Midterms are exams that are dreaded by if not all, then most college students. Midterm Week is a time of never-ending stress, sicknesses, all-nighters, late night food runs, and many emotions.

Just look at it this way: first, you're not all alone. College students everywhere are put through the same collective pressures and anxieties that you're experiencing. That's somewhat reassuring, right? Remember that, once this week is over, for the fortunate ones will be somewhere warm and the only test that you'll need to ace are the 20 questions that your parents call you about when you're away on spring break. For now, "Gilmore Girls" assures us that your emotions towards midterms are normal and that you're most definitely not the only one having a mental, emotional, and physical breakdown.

1. You look at your syllabus and you end up having a paper, two exams, a proposal, and a presentation due all on the same day.

We've all been there. All that you can do is suck it up, get it done, and make a countdown to Spring Break.

2. The week has started and you are seriously wondering how everything is going to get done. You realize there is definitely no time for anything other than school work.

You're so stressed that you don't know how to feel. Join the club.

3. After a few all-nighters, you're at a point where coffee is the only substantial source of nutrients that you need to get you through this awful time.

Wow, wouldn't that be nice? There's no need to make those countless coffee trips anymore. More library time for you!

4. Stress eating just comes with the territory to get you through and it is a great way to procrastinate, right?

It's totally OK. You will have time to diet and work out when midterms are over.

5. Your friends are trying to be supportive and encouraging towards you, but you are just not having it.

You are trying to make it through and get by. This is definitely no time for their positivity.

6. Your professor hands out your exam and you realize this is it. It's your time to shine!

You've just got to cross your fingers and hope that all your hard work will pay off.

7. You wrote you paper, you took your tests, you handed in your proposal, and you gave your presentation.

You're exhausted, but now you're done and that calls for a nap.

8. Realizing that you're actually done has you feeling some type of way.

You did it! Have a happy spring break! Make bad decisions, you deserve it, don't you?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
