What ever happened to predictability? The milkman? The paper boy? Evening tv?
Well it's back and thank goodness! If you are anything like me, you finished the first season very quickly. But what's an entire season in one sitting when you've been waiting YEARS. "Full House" was my go to the evening show. Heck, I was like the second Kimmy Gibbler. If I wasn't obsessing over the characters, I wanted to live there just as badly as she did. So, when "Fuller House" was announced I was very scared. Could they remake a classic? Would this be a bust like "Girl Meets World"? Would it even relate to the "Full House" lovers? Here are the emotional stages of the lead up to and during the premiere of Fuller House.
1. When they first announced the series.
2. When February 26th FINALLY comes around and Netflix premieres the series.
3. When you hit that play button and the theme song comes on and you see the pan shot of the Bay Bridge.
4. When you see the cast altogether at the dinner table.
5. When the cast references their old mottos.
6. When you see the new cast come in.
7. When the new, adorable little boy character says Donald Trump is a bad word.
8. When the remix of the theme song comes on and the cast is shown as then-versus-now.
9. The countless times they call out Mary Kate and Ashley for not joining the show (the direct, minute stare into the camera).
10. The new humor added to the show.
11. When there's a flashback to a scene in Full House.
12. When you finish the entire season.
"Fuller House" has brought us through a whirlwind of emotions through 13 episodes, and here's to (hopefully) another 13! But, in the meantime, here's to re-watching this season countless times.
