After coming back to school from a relaxing Thanksgiving Break, the last thing that anyone wants to do is study. But as soon as the first Monday class comes around you already have three papers, two group projects, and a presentation that are all due by the end of the week. So studying becomes a must. When all this work piles up, it's hard to not simply curl up into a ball and cry, but there is one person who knows how to overcome any amount of work with ease and enthusiasm: Leslie Knope. Take a few notes from her book, or meticulously labeled binders, to stay alive and sane until winter break.

Make a pump-up study playlist.

Stay organized. Make review sheets and lists -- even color-coded schedules help.

Stay awake. Caffeine is your best friend.

It's OK to cry -- just don't let it stop you.

Check in with yourself and try to stay sane.

Check in with your friends. Support each other.

Personal hygiene is still important.

Sometimes you need a hug.

When it's all over, treat yo' self!

If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
