Though we can't say much for the Grinch's clothes or lack thereof, we still can take some of his green and incorporate the color in our holiday wear this year!

I am a big fan of jewel tones lately, but for Christmas especially I'm color crushing on emerald. This rich jewel tone screams sexy and sophisticated, and I especially love it when paired with charcoal and gold. Emerald was Pantone's color of the year in 2013. It could be a great color to paint a wall or room in your house, as a statement piece, or even as a sort of neutral depending on what you're doing with it.

Remember to spend the coming few weeks to get off of social media and online shopping and spend some time with your friends and family (in cute emerald green outfits)!
