You were late today, you can't find anything in your room, and you're extremely prepared to rock your hair and makeup from last night's events. It's true, you're a hot mess. We all have days where we feel like our lives are in shambles. However, there are a select few of us that get the pleasure of owning this feeling majority, if not all, of our days. OK, fine, it's not always pleasurable, but it keeps life a lot more exciting this way.
1. No matter how hard you try you are ALWAYS late. But if we're being honest, you're probably still in bed at the time you're supposed to be showing up.
2. You lose everything. You've gotten your apartment keys replaced for the sixth time this semester and it's a new record low.
3. An average night out doesn't just consist of contacting the wrong person; that would be too easy. You have probably landed in a thorn bush somewhere. Keep in mind it's still pretty hot out and you have to wear summer clothes to class and the next to weeks you're body is still covered in scrapes. Rock those scrapes, girl. That night probably made a great story.
4. You frequently get texts messages from your roommates asking about your status because they haven't seen you come out of your room in over 48 hours.
5. Your style is out of this world. Let's be honest, you've had that shirt on for three days now and your makeup is a mixture of two nights ago and a little bit of foundation you tried to blend in today.
6. The truth is you've probably attempted to clean your room, but the reality is that your floor has never completely seen the light of day due to the heaps of clothes that get thrown around.
7. You're never organized. And you're honestly fine with it.
RIP to the Kate Spade agenda you bought in August, along with the colored gel pens in an attempt to get your life together that have never been used. Let's face it, you're just never organized.
8. Stains are more attracted to you than the male species
That white dress you just bought? Forget it, the first night you wore it you spilled red liquid all over it. No, literally your dress turned more red than it was white.
9. What is an actual meal?
You haven't bought groceries in, well, you don't even remember how long. You consider yourself a professional snacker. Some chips and guac for breakfast and maybe some leftover mac and cheese for lunch/dinner.
10. Every once in a blue moon there is a productive day that makes its way into your life. With every productive day, you have to reward yourself whether its an extra cup of coffee or a large pizza that you probably can't even afford.
11. Eventually everything works out. It may be rocky getting there, but somehow at the end of the day you always manage to pull it all together.
