Your sense of adventure is peaked the moment you find the love, and thrill, of whatever it is that you're doing.
Adventure will come to you in so many different forms throughout this life. For some, this may be the breathtaking journey of climbing high mountains, sailing treacherous waters, or flying around the globe. For others, this may be a memorable drive down the coastline with enjoyable company, starting a family, or simply changing the route in which you walk your dog on a daily basis. Regardless of how you do it though, enjoy it. Even if they do not seem like a big deal to others, it doesn't matter, because those moments were really all for you.
Our adventures are our stories. They are our past, our present, and our future. Keeping this in mind, there should never be a day that you can't experience one, or prepare yourself for another.
Just think about it: one day you're sitting at home wondering what your next big moment in life will be. You think to yourself, "I want to go on a trip and sleep under the stars." So, you do. You set out on an adventure to the forest and do just that. You kind of just go for it.
Obviously it isn't always as easy as this seems, but if you have the opportunity, why not give yourself the journey you can tell amazing stories about afterwards.
If anything, these moments should feel unlike any other. Like Peter Pan said: "to live would be an awfully big adventure."
Sure, everything is made easy and simple with pixie dust, but even through the rough patches, you can still find reason to have a great moment to live in, and an equally as great memory to look back on.
Even for myself, with all of the mini trips I enjoy going on, there are still the adventures I have difficulties with. My education for example. It's been a roller coaster of a journey, with ups and downs (this may or may not reference my GPA,) but throughout it all I have had a miraculous journey studying and participating in something I care a lot about.
Needless to say, only you can experience your adventures. And when you experience them, you should tell your stories, love your memories, and endearingly look forward to what's to come next.
Adventure is out there. And it can, and will, find anyone and everyone. Whether you know that you need it or not. And when it happens, you're going to find it memorable.
