Dear Ellen,
Thank you for putting a smile on my face every day at 3 o'clock. Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity on a daily basis. Thank you for bringing positivity into my life. Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you for being accepting. Thank you for seeing the good in everyone, and most importantly, thank you for being you.
I'm not sure where to start because for as long as I can remember, I've been a fan of yours. You encompass everything a person should be: positive, happy, generous, loving, full of life, kind-hearted, driven, talented and inspiring. Most importantly, you are yourself, and you never let anyone diminish your worth, and I admire the hell out of you for that. You are the most incredibly souled person, and you reach out to anyone and everyone you possibly can, and people like you are what this world needs. You are a perfect role model.
Ellen is famous for her personality, her comedic background and her life-changing TV show that airs daily at 3 p.m. She acknowledges your everyday, average person for being a good person. She's an advocate for the gay community, and her heart may be the most beautiful thing in the world. You may be against gay rights; you may not like her approach, but there is no denying the fact she is the most incredible person inside and out. Maybe it has to do with the fact that her last name sounds like the word "generous," or maybe, it's because she truly is the world's most beautiful person. She, yet again, was awarded the Humanitarian Award at this year's People's Choice Awards, and her acceptance speech hits you right in the feels.
She recently made her largest donation in the show's history to an elementary school in my home state of Michigan. The school is in the city of Detroit, and for those of you who know, the Detroit Public School district has been on the outs for a while now since the doing of former Mayor Kilpatrick. Spain Elementary School is falling apart, and the children who attend the school are in poverty or homeless. The faculty make ends meet with what they can, and the school has been making national headlines, which is how Ellen found out about it. She reached out, and with the help of Lowe's and Justin Bieber, more than a half a million dollars have been donated to the school, and Bieber will donate a dollar for every ticket sold to his Detroit show. Alongside that, Ellen has set up a GoFundMe page in hopes of raising one million dollars for the school.
If you keep up with her show, you know of a little girl named Macey, who is a presidential enthusiast. President Obama made his second appearance on "The Ellen Show" and was the first sitting president to do so. Ellen let Macey meet the President, and if this doesn't warm your heart, you're lying. You can say what you want about President Obama and his policies, but there is no denying he is the coolest, most down-to-earth President the White House has and will ever have.
Ellen if you ever come across this, I just want to thank you for being the beautiful human you are. Your confidence is inspiring, and your sense of humor is contagious. Thank you for being the perfect role model and a perfect example of what a person should be.
If everyone was like you, the world would be such a better place.
I love you.
Last but not least, can you run for president? You'd get my vote in a heartbeat.
