I am a true Ellen DeGeneres fan.

Many of my afternoons revolve around her 4 o’clock time slot. She is downright hilarious. Her arrays of guests, both young and old, make the show one of my favorites. While it's always fun listening to her interview the stars of our favorite shows and singers of our replayed songs, sometimes the best ones are those we don’t exactly know. But the ones I enjoy the most are the young ones. They always leave me amazed at their knowledge or laughing at the humor they’re little mind can come up with

Here are my favorite young guests.

1. Sophia Grace and Rosie.

Discovered on YouTube, these two Brits captured our hearts with their "Ellen" debut belting out to Super Bass alongside their idol, Nicki Minaj. Older cousin Sophia Grace’s personality dominates shy Rosie in a way that makes you laugh. Lucky for them, Ellen now sends them to various red carpets to interview their favorite celebs, teas with Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, and various places, including Disney World. Watch them here.

2. Tommy.

Born with just one arm, which he calls Nemo, Tommy has incredible golfing skills. It's amazing to watch someone with this disability be able to excel at a sport which one would assume requires two arms. Not to mention he is only three years old. Tommy picked up the sport at 11 months old, sleeps with his golf clubs, and has since played with Tiger Woods. Tommy is such an inspiring kid. Watch him play golf with Ellen here.

3. Noah Ritter.

Noah’s path to "Ellen" began when he was interviewed for his local news station. While being interviewed, he said the word “apparently” countless times, said witty comments about his grandfather and the rest is history. He truly is hilarious. Ellen brought him on and has since taken him to Hawaii, a Texas State Fair, and behind the scenes of Walking With Dinosaurs, a dinosaur show. Noah leaves me with tears of laughter each time I watch. The stuff that comes out of his mouth can not be made up. Prepare to laugh and watch here.

4. Macey Hensley.

To be honest, I don’t know all of the past U.S. presidents by name. This little girl knows them all by name, picture, wife, vice president and can even tell you some facts about them. It’s incredibly amazing to watch her talk about them. Ellen has sent her to the White House and the Reagan Library. She’s got some presidential knowledge not many people have. Watch her blow your mind here.

5. Kai.

With a love for Bruno Mars, Kai was discovered by Ellen on YouTube and came to sing his favorite songs by his idol. He is an adorable little kid who also loves to tell Ellen, his “girlfriend,” how much he loves her. Watch him melt your heart here.

6. Brielle.

Another kid Ellen brings that has me beat. At only three years old, she knows the whole periodic table of elements and can identify them including some pretty amazing facts. She also knows all the states and capitals, presidents, and countries in Europe and Africa. Barely making full sentences, her three-year-old brain surpasses mine. Watch her blow your mind here.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
