US- based Matt Key is an emerging artist on the electronica scene along with his music making partner- Portuguese producer NVS. Their intriguing atmospheric single “Victory” strikes a nice balance between the hard edges of breakbeat and the cornerstones of euphoric trance-induced atmospherics.. On the epic track, Key and NVS incorporate elements of dubstep and soft techno to create a deliciously melodic masterpiece that walks the fine line between dance underground realness and commercial sheen.

The duo have certainly created a stunning production with its big beats and striking ambiance. To add even more excitement to the mix, “Victory” boasts a monumental breakdown and big build-up for some pure sonic magic. It’s the stuff that’s prime for festival peak time or some mood music to chillax to at home.

As music on the electronica scene continues to morph and evolve, it’s certainly cool to see EDM going in interesting directions whether it’s pumping out grand symphonic sounds across their breakbeat soundscapes or incorporating elements of trap music while breaking things downs with calculated doses of dubstep in the mix. And these are the spaces where Matt Key and NVS play nicely.
