We are officially into Election 2016. We've had the whirlwind of the Iowa caucuses, the entertaining Republican debates, the boring Democratic debates, the countless Trump memes, the "SNL" skits, and the constant shade every candidate has been throwing at another. Now I enjoy this craziness, it's like a reality show that you get to engage in, but sometimes it just gets too insane for me to take seriously anymore. Another thing that I enjoy, but can't take seriously, is "Portlandia." Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are back at it with their sixth season and, like Election 2016, I am living for it. So I decided to mash them together and describe the feelings I've had thus far for Election 2016 using Portlandia GIFs. Enjoy!

1. When Bernie Sanders starts talking about the crazy debt college students have.

2. When Hillary Clinton said, "May the force be with you," at the end of the debate.

3. When John Kasich talks with his hands the whole time.

4. When I watched the Republican debate.

5. When I watched the Democratic debate and there was no fighting.

6. When I talk to an uniformed citizen.

7. Whenever Trump said something sexist, racist, or really when he said anything.

8. When Ben Carson would talk at a debate.

9. When Hillary Clinton tries to be down with the millennials on social media.

10. Whenever Martin O'Malley had to go up against Sanders and Clinton.

11. When I realized Trump's candidacy wasn't a joke anymore.

12. When Sarah Palin gave her endorsement to Trump.

13. When someone tries to explain Iowa caucuses.

14. When I saw that Bernie lost Iowa.

15. When Trump was a sore loser in Iowa and demanded a recount.

16. When I'm already over it and we haven't even gotten into the thick of things.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
