Whether you are a server at the moment or you have served in your past, you will have experienced most of these struggles. Being a server is not an easy job, but it definitely has its perks. While serving, you will meet a variety of different types of people, some great and others...awful. Regardless, it is always an eventful shift. Here are a few things that all of us fellow servers can relate to.
1. Hearing the same cheesy jokes.
2. "Oh, I'm so sorry about that" becomes very relevant in your vocabulary.
3. Wanting to scream when you see the host carrying a high chair towards your station.
4. Where's my pen? Becky did you take my pen?
5. Waking up at 3am remembering you forgot table 7's ranch.
6. Not wearing non-slip shoes.
7. When a two-top seats themselves at a four-top.
8. When you have a table of sitters who never leave.
