Eight Places To Add To Your Travel Bucket List

We all have one -- a list of things we must do or see before we kick the bucket. Foodies list restaurants and delicacies they long to taste. Adrenaline junkies detail the skydives, bungee jumps, and zip lines of their dreams. For travel enthusiasts, the list can be quite lengthy. Listed below are eight locations that are the total package. Known not only for their spectacular views but their incredible culture, history and food too, these spots are a must see for any jet setter.

Santorini, Greece

Beautiful white houses topped with royal blue roofs sit upon the rim of an active volcano in the Mediterranean Sea overlooking crystal clear waters. This beautiful island off the coast of Greece's mainland overflows with culture. Spend the day exploring the shops that line the island's streets or relax on one of its famous, scenic beaches.

Venice, Italy

The floating city. No cars. No roadways. Just canals and boats. Some say the best way to explore Venice is to just start walking. Get lost within a scenic maze of paths and bridges. Don't forget a map!

Bruges, Belgium

Candy stores line the sides of the cobblestone streets, all filled to the brim with some of the world's finest chocolates. The medieval architecture, canals, and horse drawn carriages add charm to this sweet city.

Sydney, Australia

From the clear waters and beautiful beaches to the busy and exciting city life, this city has it all. Sydney boasts some of the world's most iconic landmarks, both natural and man made, like the Great Barrier Reef and the Sydney Opera House.

Kyoto, Japan

One of the few cities in Japan spared during the second world war, Kyoto is home to some of the world's most beautiful temples. The incredible grace and charm of the temples make for an experience of a lifetime.

Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is a city teeming with life. Whether strolling through Las Ramblas (Bracelona's extensive outdoor food market), catching a soccer game at FC Barcelona's Camp Nou, or enjoying the food at an authentic tapas bar, there's never a boring day in Barcelona. Always busy, always bright, always colorful, this city is best known for its incredibly intricate architecture and quirky art.

Positano, Italy

This charming village rests within an enclave among the hills of the Amalfi Coast. Positano has the best of the beach, mountains, and village all rolled into quite possibly one of the world's most picturesque towns.

Cape Town, South Africa

Cradled between three distinctive mountainous peaks, Cape Town lies at the southern most point of Africa. The lively city lies five minutes from some of the world's most scenic outdoors. The blend of the urban culture with Cape Town's beautiful nature is like no other.

Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you.
