We can all agree that Cher Horowitz was a preppy, superficial, spoiled girl from Beverly Hills. But even through her snootiness, Cher still managed to teach some pretty valuable lessons, here are eight of them.

1. How to be a good friend.

Cher would do anything to help out her friends. She gave Tai a complete makeover, helped her get popular and set her up with Elton, one of the hottest, most overrated guys in school. She always made sure her friends were looking and feeling their best.

2. Fashion is always important.

There was never a day Cher's outfits weren't on fleek. This a lesson we can all learn from. Look good, feel good, ladies.

3. Confidence is key.

Cher definitely knew her self-worth and always knew what a fabulous person she was. Were there times when she didn't feel as fierce as usual? Yes, but at the end of the day, she alway knew that she was biggest and baddest diva in the game.

4. Always take care of your family.

Cher defined everything it meant to be a daddy's girl. However, she always took care of her busy dad by making sure he was eating healthy and getting rest, as well as working hard. Even though she didn't say it much, you could tell she appreciated and truly cared for her dad because at the end of the day they only had each other.

5. How to negotiate.

Cher didn't stop at anything until she got what she wanted. I mean she even went as far as to set her teachers up to get better grades. She never took no for an answer and always got what she wanted, gracefully of course.

6. Not to listen to what people think.

Cher didn't care what other people thought about her decisions. I mean, they were hers! Her friends got all judgy on her for being a virgin and she didn't even bat an eyelash. She kept keeping on and didn't let it faze her. Admirable.

7. Preparation isn't always key.

OK, so you forgot about something you had to do for class. Don't even worry. Cher taught us that with a little bullshit, we can get through anything. Give them your best smile and own it, you'll be fine. Don't stress, it gives you wrinkles.

8. Follow your heart.

At first, Cher did everything she could to conceal her real feelings for Josh, but in the end she realized it wasn't worth it. If her heart was telling her something then she had to follow it and she did. It certainly payed off for her because she got what she wanted (again).

Shout-out to Cher for teaching us some very useful life lessons with the biggest diva attitude around.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
