1. One of my favorite writers of all-time. Someone who really had insight on the world. This quote is so beautiful to me an something everyone should think about especially in wake of recent events. The world is a dark place but I promise there is light. If you can't find the light, make the light.
2. The speech from Rocky Balboa. America's most beloved boxer (fictional anyways in wake of the passing of the Greatest). But this speech is powerful. Something everyone needs to hear. You can do this, I promise.
3. "The Life of Pi" is one of those movies you have to see. Not only is it visually stunning, it's also just a great movie. This quote though is so powerful. So many people in this world feel broken and lost. God has a plan. He will never abandon you. He loves his children and wants you to seek him when it's good and when it's bad.
4. "The Great Dictator" speech. Charlie Chaplin was once one of the top actors in the country. This quote is as relevant today as it was in the 1940s. Especially with how much violence we see today. We need more kindness and gentleness in the world.
5. Winston Churchill considered one of the greatest leaders during a time of destruction and uncertainty. We must do what we must. We have a choice always.
6. The world lost a great treasure in Robin Williams. Someone we lost too soon. Seize the day. Carpe Diem and don't let go.
7. It's all a matter of perspective. Really if something isn't going your way look at it from a new set of eyes.
8. Love yourself. Love every imperfection every flaw. And then take that love and love everyone around you regardless of their faith, sexual orientation or skin color or just because they are different. Love everyone as you love yourself.
