The Importance Of Listening

Because recently I have noticed people are way too apathtic.

The Importance Of Listening
Biznology

Here recently I have came to the conclusion that certain people cease to have ears. They can be told something more than once and still do something completely opposite or not do it at all. When you get out into the real world, listening is key. Now the trick question is whether or not these earless people will learn to do what they say.

In the real world one must listen, for if they do not, danger becomes or may become a possibility. A high school cooking class for example; you listen to the teacher or else you could risk not only your life, but every persons life inside of the building. It could also be a matter of food safety. You must cook food according to directions or else you could cause a food-borne illness. (Because there are really those people out there with no common sense).

Where I work, I have to ensure I clean certain materials and work stations properly for safety and health purposes. If I don't, one could become sick or hurt. It's not just the rules to do a job properly, it is common sense.

Listening is the key to life. The more we listen, the more we learn. The more we learn, the better off this world will be. People should learn to listen more. Important morals are picked up that you will learn to use sometime in your life. And even when you don't feel like listening, please do, because it will make a bigger difference than you expect.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
