You Are Here For Your Education, First
Quotes Gram

Take it from a college Sophomore. College is definitely not a walk in the park. Once you are on your own, you indicate how your life will go. For some it is a mistake going away to school, they just cannot handle it. The responsibly is just too much for them. That does not have to be you though. In my opinion, I think people are forgetting why they go away to school in the first place. I do not think people are realizing that each time you skip a class, or each time you do not study for an exam, you are proving to yourself that this isn’t for you. Of course there are people who put their heart and soul into everything they do. There is a time for play, but there is an even bigger time for work.

You grow up going through grade school all the way up through high school. In those moments, you truly believe that you go away to school to study and prepare yourself for what life will throw you in the long run. When you get to school you will realize that there are people here for all the wrong reasons. Some of those people will not realize it until it is too late. From experiencing Freshman year, I saw the kids who thrived and I saw the kids who struggled. These people struggled because they did not apply themselves.

Understand, that college is a business. Attending University is a privilege not a right. You pay to attend a university and you pay to get an incredible education. Some people out there will never have the chance to experience college or get a degree. You are so incredibly lucky to get the chance to get an education at a high level. Take advantage of the opportunity you have now. I can tell you now, if you want that job or you really want that internship you better get working. There is a time and place for everything. Work hard play hard and you will succeed. Before I leave you, think about your life ahead of you. If it worth wasting it? You are here for your education, first.

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
