Have you seen any ducks recently? Me neither! Do you know where they all went? I'm very worried about them.

I hope they're ok. I really like going down along the river and feeding them, but I haven't seen them around recently. Do you think they all took a collective vacation somewhere?

Ducks are my favorite animal. I like their webbed feet and funny bills. The way they dive underwater to get fish is really cool, too. I wish I could be a duck.

If I was a duck, I bet life would be a lot simpler. I wouldn't have to worry about school or work or responsibilities. I would just waddle around quacking and eating free bread. I really like bread. Maybe that's why I really like ducks?

I think the last time I saw a duck was in late October. It was a green mallard duck, and he was swimming in circles. I threw him a whole slice of bread and he ate it all up. He was by himself and he looked really lonely. That's rare for a duck.

That's another reason why I would like to be a duck. Ducks are always in groups, meaning that they always have friends and someone to talk to. I would like to have a friend someday. I've never had one before.

I hope the ducks come back soon, I've missed them. If you see a duck, let me know. Also, tell that duck that I love him and I hope he comes back to river so I can feed him bread.
