10 Places Every College Girl Should Shop To Feel Like Black Friday Is 365 Days Of The Year

If we're being honest, everyone in college seems to be a little broke, yet there is still the desire to stay trendy.

This can be a tough concept considering not a whole lot of people want to break the bank on expensive clothing that they may only wear a few times (guilty as charged).

Below is a list of my personal favorite and affordable clothing stores that you can visit both online and in-person!

1. Curtsy

Curtsy is an app that sells used clothing, it is very trendy and carries all of the best brands, such as Revolve, Princess Polly, Show Me Your Mumu, Lulu Lemon, and many more! This app is definitely a go-to!

2. Shein

The famous website Shein really does have some unbeatable prices. However, given the low prices, sometimes the quality isn't great. But if you are balling on a budget, this is the place to look!

3. Zaful

Zaful is pretty similar to Shein, both websites have exceptional prices. However, quality can be a little on the low side.

4. Forever 21

Forever 21 is pretty much every college girls go-to store. It's cheap, can have some extremely cute clothes at times, but it's also known for being a hit-or-miss kind of store.

5. Nasty Gal

Nasty Gal is my personal favorite out of all of the websites above. It almost always has sales and the quality is great!

6. Boohoo

Boohoo is a favorite website of mine, they almost always have great deals going on and their clothes are super cute! The quality could be better at times but for the most part, it's a good one.

7. Windsor

Whether you're in a sorority or going to a fraternity event, Windsor has great dresses for every occasion that are extremely cheap as well!

8. Romwe

Romwe is pretty similar to Shein and Zaful, low prices but the quality is OK. Shipping might take a little longer, but you do get what you paid for! Just make sure to plan in advance.

9. Amazon Prime

I know you might be thinking "I would never shop for clothes on Amazon" which once upon a time I would've said the same thing. However, Amazon really does have EVERYTHING. I have bought at least five different clothing items/shoes from this God-given website. Just make sure you check the stars and reviews!

10. Brandy Melville

Brandy Melville is like the holy grail of affordable college girl clothes, whether you need just a few basics, or some fun belts and accessories. Brandy Melville is one you must check out, if you haven't already.

Check out these stores and decide for yourself how to take on the semester!

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Bucket List To Live In The Now

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

Kent State University
Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.

The winters at Kent are brutal, and while the heated sidewalks and some great snow boots are always a help, there’s no chance you won’t bust it on the ice at least once in your four plus years at school.
