Ed Sheeran is going on a stadium tour!!! A well-deserved tour may I add. Remember the days of small intimate Ed shows? Yeah, well that is no more. How about the arena venues? Or the time he sold out Madison Square Garden for three days straight? What a time to be alive.
Can you imagine what it's going to be like to hear a stadium full of people belting out the lyrics to "You Need Me, I Don't Need You?" Yeah, let that sink in...
Ed, his guitar, mic, and loop pedal take on stadium crowds.
I'm totally trying to keep my cool, BUT I CAN'T.
Now, Ed isn't totally a stranger to the stadium tour life. Remember when he opened for Taylor Swift's Red Tour way back when? He killed it as an opening act, so what should we expect from him as the main act? Who knows. Probably some great graphics on a complex array of screens with lights. Lots of lights.
The best thing about seeing Ed Sheeran live aside from listening to him play his music aloud in person is definitely his own reaction to crowds. No matter how many shows he plays, he still has a good time and he'll let you know.
I can't wait to watch him take over the stadiums. That is if I get tickets...
Good luck to all during the chaos that is getting concert tickets. May the odds be ever in your favor.
