When I was a little girl,
Momma always said,
‘Monsters aren’t in your bed’
‘They’re actually in your head.’
That’s when I realized I’ll always have my ED
All the ladies love him,
They see he made me thin.
What they don’t know,
Is he’ll put you on death row.
He’s killed far too many girls than he’ll ever admit
He prays on societies most vulnerable few,
feeding you thoughts far from true.
Cry, scream, fight and shout,
Hell, just tap out.
Let go of your dearest ED,
Far too many tears have been shed.
Smash the mirror, eat a meal,
It will help you begin to heal.
Armor up because tonight is the night
We take back the fight.
ED will not kill me,
for I am free,
ready to be,
a survivor and honoree.
